First They Came

First they came for the financiers, and I said nothing for I was not a financier.

Then they came for the auto companies, and I said nothing, I was not in the auto business.

Then they came for the health care professionals, and I said nothing for I was not in the health profession.

Then they came for the free speaking media, and I said nothing, for I had no stake in the media.

Then they came for.......

How long before everyone becomes one of the ...'s? How long before the need to speak out is no longer enough because there is no one left to listen?

When will people begin to realize that as American's we are all connected. Every aspect can somehow be connected to another. Whether it is money, or health care, or a thought not tethered by an oppressive government.

Only two years?

Well, for getting off to a roaring start on my blog, it has taken me just over two short years to post again. At this rate I should have enough for that novel I've been going to write in about 200 years. I thought it might be fun to try this again to see if things started flowing. It is not like there isn't ample material to comment on. Not about me necessarily, that seems a bit pretentious. No, I am of course talking about our dear leader, Chairman Obama. So, we shall see. Hopefully, it will be less than two years before I make it back.
